National Western Complex tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a venue that’s steeped in history and packed with character? The National Western Complex in Denver is just that. This place isn’t your average event hall, it’s the historic home of the 1929 Denver Cattle Exhibition, which really put Denver on the map in the cattle world. Over the years, it’s become a hub for big events like rodeos, livestock shows, and even the Colorado State Fair livestock judging contest back in the early 70s, which was broadcast nationwide, talk about a time capsule. The complex can hold over 10,000 vehicles in its massive parking area, perfect for those huge events that draw crowds from all over. If you’re into outdoor spectacles, the rodeo arena can seat around 12,000 spectators, plenty of room for adrenaline-fueled nights. And if you’re feeling fancy, they sometimes offer VIP upgrades like meet-and-greets with performers or special backstage access. Want a budget option? Standing Room Only tickets are usually your best bet, giving you access without breaking the bank and no reserved seats to worry about. Getting there is a breeze, just hop on southbound I-25 then swing onto westbound I-70, and you'll find it nestled close to Denver’s lively Entertainment District, surrounded by top hotels and eateries. Whether you're into big rodeos, lively livestock shows, or exciting concerts, this place has something for everyone, and honestly, it’s a bit like stepping back in time while enjoying today’s entertainment. Trust me, once you’re inside, you’ll see why the National Western Complex remains a Denver icon.
